| | Wow, that was intense! With this trailer, it appears that Oscar season is finally upon us. Denzel Washington directs what looks like an intense response to the #OscarsSoWhite issue that came up last year. I am glad to see a trailer with an African-American leading cast, bringing more diversity to the big screen. The trailer also gives us a peak at what will most likely be an Oscar-nominated performance by Washington. |
| | I am so excited for this film that will undoubtedly blow the audience's mind. It also appears to have the funny and clever dialogue that past Marvel films brought to their audiences. As a kid, I was a big Doctor Strange fan. I owned the first Doctor Strange comic book essential, and loved reading all of the odd mysticism involved with the superhero. I believe that Benedict Cumberbatch will be a perfect fit into the role of the caped hero. |
| | Yesssss, it is finally time to return to the Wizarding World with this new film! It has been too long since Harry Potter shook the world with on-screen magic, creating a fan-base that is nearly incomparable to any other franchise. My only hope for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is that the filmmakers do not go over-the-top with CGI and special effects. A lot of the Harry Potter films focused more on subtle magic with darkness and light, as opposed to bringing out a bunch of odd creatures all at once. |
